Naperville 203 Welcomes New Scott Elementary School Principal
Naperville 203 is excited to announce that Tracey Ratner was approved by the Board of Education to serve as the next principal of Scott Elementary School.
Mrs. Ratner brings with her an impressive educational background and a wealth of experience. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from the University of Illinois, a Master’s in Gifted Education from Northeastern Illinois University, and a Master’s in Educational Administration and Leadership from the University of Illinois. Additionally, she earned a Learning Behavior Specialist certification from Lewis University.
Her career in education began in 2004 as an elementary classroom teacher in Kildeer Countryside District 96. Since then, she has served as both a classroom and gifted teacher in Northbrook District 28 and Champaign District 4. She transitioned into school leadership in Indian Prairie District 204, where she served as a student services coordinator for three years and then as an elementary principal for seven years. Most recently, Mrs. Ratner has been a principal in Downers Grove School District 58 for the past three years.
