Introducing Jon Pereiro, New Athletic Director of Naperville North High School

Naperville 203 is excited to announce that Jon Pereiro has been appointed as the new Athletic Director of Naperville North High School, effective immediately. Jon brings a wealth of experience in education and athletics, making him exceptionally qualified to lead and support our athletic programs.

Jon's journey in education began in 2009 as a social studies teacher, followed by roles as an Assistant Athletic Director, Activities Director, and Coach at Plainfield Central. Most recently, he served as the Athletic Director at Joliet Central High School since 2021. These diverse  experiences have equipped him with the skills and insights necessary to enhance and elevate our athletic programs at Naperville North.

Jon holds an undergraduate degree from Loras College and a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Concordia University Chicago. He has also earned the Certified Athletic Administrator (C.A.A.) accreditation from the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrator Association (NIAAA).

Jon is proud to have been recognized as a Chicago Bears Coach of the Week in 2017 and as the Illinois Athletic Directors Association's New Athletic Director of the Year in 2021. These honors reflect his commitment to excellence and his dedication to fostering a positive and supportive environment for student-athletes.
