Naperville 203 Welcomes Sima Thurman as Principal of Mill Street Elementary

We are delighted to announce that Sima Thurman has joined Naperville District 203 as the new Principal of Mill Street Elementary School. With nearly 25 years of experience in education, Sima brings a wealth of knowledge and a passion for inspiring students and educators.

Originally from Homewood, Illinois, Sima is thrilled to return to her roots and be part of the Naperville 203 community. She began her educational career as a teacher, spending 17 years teaching grades Pre-K through 6th. In 2017, she transitioned to an administrative role as an elementary school Principal, where she has continuously found innovative ways to motivate and engage her school community.

While many know Sima for her devotion to her calling in education, she is equally proud of her role as a mother. Her son, a DePaul University graduate, is one of her most cherished achievements.

Sima looks forward to collaborating with the dedicated staff at Mill Street and is excited to lead and support the fantastic Mustangs. Please join us in welcoming Sima Thurman to Naperville 203!
