Andrew McCree Named Principal of Ann Reid Early Childhood Center

Andrew McCree Appointed as Principal of Ann Reid Early Childhood Center

The Naperville Community Unit School District 203 Board of Education appointed Mr. Andrew McCree as principal of Ann Reid Early Childhood Center (ARECC).   

Currently, McCree is the principal at Brokaw Early Learning Center in Oswego and was previously the Assistant Principal at Wolf’s Crossing Elementary School in Aurora. He also spent four years in the classroom teaching at Parks Cultural Students Academy and Maycrest Early Childhood Center, both in Joliet.   

“I am excited to be a part of the Ann Reid family,” said McCree. “Our work with families and communities will build a passion for lifelong learning that begins at birth.”  

 “Mr. McCree brings a passion for educating our youngest learners. His early childhood expertise and vigor proves he’ll be an asset to the Ann Reid community,” said Superintendent Dan Bridges.  

McCree has a Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Education from University of Illinois and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Benedictine University. He also attended a Professional Education Leadership Institute at Harvard University. McCree will begin his new role at Ann Reid Early Childhood Center on July 1, 2018. He will replace principal Tarah Allen.
