Oct. 2: Culinary & Hospitality Spotlight: College of DuPage will be hosting their Culinary & Hospitality Spotlight on Wed., Oct. 2, from 5:30pm - 7:30pm. This event would be great for students interested in Culinary Arts, Baking & Pastry Arts, Hospitality, Restaurant Management, Travel & Tourism, and Meeting & Event Planning.
Oct. 5: 2019 Naperville Healing Field of Honor (Volunteer Opportunity): In November the Healing Field of Honor will return to Naperville to honor men and women of the military. The Naperville Healing Field is not possible without the dedication of numerous volunteers. This fall there are several opportunities to support the Healing Field as a volunteer, and they need your help! Volunteers are needed for multiple dates (Oct. 5, 19; Nov. 1, 12). If you or someone you know is interested in helping please contact Brad Wilson at firstname.lastname@example.org to register as a volunteer.
Oct. 6: Beyong the Numbers: Breaking Down Highly Selective Admissions: Ever wondered what really happens inside the higly selective college admissions process? Beyond the Numbers, an interactive workshop designed by the Tufts University Office of Undergraduate Admissions, aims to show you. Please click the link above to register for this event.
Oct. 7: Elmhurst Police Explorers Open House: This program will allow students interested in careers in criminal justice to learn about what programs the Elmhurst Police Department has to offer. Click the link above for more information.
Oct. 15: IACAC College Fair: College of DuPage will be hosting an IACAC College Fair on Tues., Oct. 15, from 6pm - 8pm in the Physical Education Arena. Admission Representatives from many in-state and out-of-state colleges & universities will be available to meet with students and answer questions.
Nov. 8: Women in Construction Day: This free event will take place at the Technology Center of DuPage (301 S. Swift Rd, Addison), and is open to grades 9 and up. Students will have the opportunity to earn from women in the construction industry. Click the link above for more information.
