High school students took to the stage of Wentz Concert Hall to pitch their ideas to a panel of nine local business leaders with the goal of getting their businesses funded. Students from Naperville North and Central high schools have spent the school year bringing their business ideas to fruition. The INCubatoredu is a hands-on entrepreneurship course meant to equip students with the skills necessary to start a business.
$25,000 in grant money was up for grabs from the Naperville Education Foundation. Cash meant to help students get their start-ups off the ground. Winners included three Naperville North teams: Style 360 received $3,000, Oracle Straw received $9,000 and Turf Breaker received $12,000.
