Naperville 203 Honors Local Veterans

Naperville 203 annually reflects on America’s bravest men and women on Veterans Day.

This year, the day kicked off with a breakfast at the District administration building for all Naperville service men and women. Naperville Central Senior Choir sang “No Finer Man” and “Let Freedom Ring” to the assembled audience. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Bill Howland, WWII Veteran. A Patriotic Reading entitled “American HIstory: Our Hope for the Future” was read by Naperville North Student Nicole Tong. Finally closing remarks were given by Terry Jelinek of the Judd KEndall VFW Post 3873.

After the breakfast the veterans dispersed for assemblies at the buildings. Throughout the morning, all 22 schools honored our local veterans through song, patriotic readings, and school assemblies.
