Naperville 203’s EdTechTeam Northeastern Illinois Summit underway at Naperville Central
As the beginning of school approaches, teachers from Naperville 203 and the surrounding areas are kick starting their learning by attending Naperville 203’s EdTechTeam Northeastern Illinois Summit featuring Google Apps for Education.
In order to adopt the latest teaching strategies using technology, teachers attended keynote speakers and breakout sessions.
“This event is our third year of hosting and it has gone along with our Digital Learning Initiative,” Jill Hlavacek, Director of Innovation and Learning said. “What we really love about this is we bring educators from all over the world, as well as our local team and it’s a chance to share with teachers real, practical, relevant, ready-to-use strategies that they can come back day one in their classrooms and start working with.”
Attendees had the opportunity to hear from Keynote speakers Trevor MacKenzie, Teacher & EdTechTeam Author; and Chris Betcher, Director of Professional Learning for EdTechTeam ANZ. Throughout the two-day seminar, they broke into a variety of sessions lead by both EdTechTeam and Naperville 203 staff members about all the Apps in the G Suite for Education, as well as techniques that educators can use to better integrate technology into classrooms and provide advanced learning opportunities for students. #inspire203
