Summer Hours
Beginning the week of June 3rd, the Main Office will be open on Tuesdays from 8:00-12:00 throughout the summer.  While staff will be in the office other days and hours, Tuesday mornings are the best time to assure that you will reach someone in person.  Please note that there won't be office hours on 6/18.

Feel free to leave voice mail messages on the main line which is 630-420-6335.  We will be checking the voice mail throughout the summer.

Online Annual Update (Spring Registration for 2019-20 School Year) was due May 3rd
Please continue to complete the Online Annual Update process and pay fees for the 2019-20 school year.  We can't place students in classrooms for 2019-20 until the registration process is complete.  If you know now that your child(ren) will not be returning in August due to a move or other circumstance, please let the Main Office know as soon as possible.

Report Cards
Your student’s report card can be accessed on June 7th at 3:00PM and is available to you through the Campus Portal.  Saving report cards electronically, and eventually other important documents, such as standardized testing results, will create a “digital portfolio” for your student.

Attached are written directions to access your elementary student’s report card.  One version goes directly through our school website and the other version takes you directly through the Campus Portal.

Mac Movie Madness
Mac Movie Madness returns to Highlands this summer!  Your child would work within a small group in creating their own movie on a Mac.  Mr. Hunger, Mr. Kessler, and Mr. Wood will guide them through the process of creating a script, videotaping/acting out the scenes, and editing the video footage on the Macs.  Everyone leaves the class with a DVD of their own movie production as well as a digital version on their Google Drive.

We are again offering two classes (Traditional and Advanced).  The Advanced version includes the concepts described above along with a focus upon the mechanics of video production as well as inclusion of special effects.  It is geared toward students with previous experience making videos and animations.
