Focus 203 State of the District September 2015

Focus 203
At the 2015 State of the District, Superintendent Dan Bridges shared points of pride, updated demographic information, and provided updates on the Focus 2020 Strategic Blueprint and key initiatives such as the Digital Learning Initiative, Expanding Learning Opportunities, summer school, and potential legislation that would impact our schools.

 
Attendees had the opportunity to get hands on experience similar to students’ in Digital Learning by using Chromebooks and Google Apps for Education (GAFE) to complete a group activity.  Using an app called Padlet, each table shared points of pride, areas of improvement, and future Focus 203 ideas that posted to the app’s online bulletin board. 
 
Community members will have another opportunity to learn about and get hands on experience with Chromebooks and GAFE at Focus 203 on October 28/29. #203pride
