I appreciate all of the “Welcome to KJHS” emails and we are all looking forward to the start of the school year. Recently, I learned that our feeder schools did not receive communication in the Spring regarding school supplies. Please read the email below from Jennifer Maulding, our School Supply Chair with KJHS Home & School.
Also, I will communicate more information around when students can walk their schedules and pick up school supply packets as soon as I am able. I appreciate your patience and understanding more than you will ever know.

If you missed the opportunity to purchase a KJHS 2021-2022 school supply pack, you still have time! This past year has been a difficult year. We recognize the school supply pack purchasing experience has not been as smooth as it has in years past and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience or frustration it has caused families. Because packs can no longer be purchased directly from our Carlson, our vendor, we have ordered a specified number of additional school supply packs that are available to purchase through Kennedy Junior High School Home and School. Once the specified number of packs are sold, you will need to purchase supplies on your own. Packs will not be able to be held without payment. Please do not call the school asking for a pack to be held aside on your behalf.
If you would like to purchase a pack, send a check made out to Kennedy Home and School for the amount of the pack you would like to purchase. Please kindly consider adding a donation to your total so we can continue to support local families in need by purchasing kits on their behalf. Send your payment to: Kennedy Junior High School, Attn: School Supplies, 2929 Green Trails Drive, Lisle, IL 60532. On the memo line note the student’s name and grade. If you wish to drop off cash or check to the school directly, you are welcome to do so anytime the school is open. Prices are below.
Supply pack distribution will take place during orientation week, which will include an opportunity to meet our new principal, Patrick Gaskin, walk schedules and pick up school supply packs if they were already purchased.
If you have not purchased locker shelves at this time there is no need to worry! As of this email, we are unsure if lockers will be used during the school year so we have held the sale of locker shelves at this time. They will be available for purchase once we hear a go-ahead for lockers. If you have already purchased locker shelves, we will distribute those during orientation week.
