Carol has served as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Naperville 203 since 2009. She oversees all human resources functions and is responsible for developing staffing management strategies, labor and employee relations, compensation and reporting, performance management and systems, and talent management.
Prior to joining Naperville 203, Carol was employed by Newedge, a global financial services firm headquartered in Paris, France and a subsidiary of the French bank, Société Générale. As Senior Managing Director and Global Head of Human Resources, Carol led the global human resources function through strategic growth, change, and restructuring, and was a member of the global executive management team. Prior to Newedge, Carol held positions of Executive Vice President, Human Resources and Corporate Communications for Crédit Agricole Corporate Investment Bank, North America and Carr Futures Group worldwide.
Carol enjoys serving the community and students, working with great colleagues to provide an engaging work environment, and the opportunity to partner with each of our talented principals and administrators in the District. She is passionate about identifying and developing our next-generation leadership talent and welcomes the opportunity to meet with teachers interested in leadership programs.
Carol serves on the Board of Directors of the Human Resources Management Association of Chicago and Compensation Board Committee at Resurrection High School in Chicago. She is also a member of the Illinois Association of Personnel Administrators. In her free time, Carol enjoys spending time with her family and values her time with friends and connecting others through networking.
She is a graduate of Dominican University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in French and Education and a Master of Business Administration in Finance.
