Washington Whirl Club: WJHS Literary Magazine
Open to ALL 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students
From October – April
The Washington Whirl Literary Magazine is the only publication by students, for students. Club members will be able to submit their own crafted work or help to select from other peer submissions. Students may be a part of the club as a writer, artist, editor, or visual engineer- the sky’s the limit!
This student-created literary magazine is published three times a year. Students are welcome to come take part a club members on select mornings from 7:30-7:50am in room 224. Keep an eye out on Wildcat TV, Wildcat Weekly, and on the morning announcements for specific dates. Additionally, any WJHS student may submit writing pieces or artwork to be considered for the publication through the link: https://tinyurl.com/WJHSWhirl . All students in grades 5-8 are welcome to attend or submit. No previous experience required.
