WATCH D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students) is an innovative father involvement, educational initiative of the National Center For Fathering. There are 2 primary goals of the WATCH D.O.G.S. program.
1) To provide male role models for students by demonstrating their presence and sending the message that education is important.
2) To provide an extra set of eyes and ears to enhance school security and reduce opportunities for bullying behaviors.

Information for your visit:
- Click here for T-Shirt Order form. If you have a t-shirt from last year there is no need to buy a new one. The ordering deadline for T-Shirts is: September 17. If you wish to purchase a T-shirt AFTER orders are due, you will be required to go to the WatchDOG website under Dogstore link and purchase your own t-shirt.
Please arrive at 7:50 AM for your orientation – which includes receiving your schedule, signing your orientation agreement, and taking a photo with your student(s).
Bring your driver’s license/photo identification in order to receive a visitor badge
You may bring a lunch or we can provide a lunch courtesy of Aramark
Wear appropriate clothing/footwear for weather conditions, as you will be both indoors and outdoors
Know that you will spend a portion of your day with your student(s) and the rest of your day volunteering in other classrooms.
Your first service to the school is helping with morning drop-off, which begins at 8:00 AM. Be ready for a great day and know that we appreciate your volunteering!
Please understand and take note of the following: If you, or your student, is ill and cannot participate in your scheduled Watch D.O.G.S. day, you will be asked to sign up for a Lunch D.O.G.S. option, rather than rescheduling. This is the same procedure that will be followed, should there be a cancelation of school and/or grade level events that impact your scheduled day.
