Principal's Message

  • Dear LJHS Families,

We hope that you are having a great summer and we are looking forward to the 2020-2021 school year! Listed below is important information about registration and the start of the school year. Please look it over carefully and contact our main office at (630) 420-6370 if you have any
    questions.

We are carefully monitoring the Re-Store Illinois Plan and intend to continue to follow the Illinois State Governor and Illinois Health Department's guidance as we make decisions for this Fall.

We will be in touch with dates and processes for this opportunity as more information is available.

The school year officially begins on Wednesday, August 19th , 2020, with transportation services.  Our school day runs from 8:00 a.m. to 2:50 p.m. Transportation information can be accessed in the Campus Portal (http://www.Naperville203.org) starting on August 12th at 3:00 p.m. Please check the Campus Portal frequently leading up to the start of school since changes can occur in routes and pick-up times. If you need assistance regarding transportation information, call the Transportation Department at 630-420-6464. If you drive your child to school, please be aware of the drop-off protocols and follow the direction of the staff that is there to assist you.

Approximately one third of our students are new to LJHS each year, and we understand the importance of ensuring that all students feel comfortable at their new school. We also know that with the unusual end to last year, some of our students may be experiencing anxiety about returning in the Fall.  As a result, we are actively planning, and are hopeful that we will be able to provide an opportunity for all students to come in prior to school to set up their lockers, walk their schedules, and also purchase a PE uniform, if that is still needed. PE shirts and shorts are
$11 each and are available to order on the LJHS website.

Schedules will be available in Infinite Campus on August 10th after 3:00 p.m. Please print your child's schedule with locker combination and bring it with you on the designated date, to be announced later, to set up your locker and walk your schedule. When printing the schedule, please ensure you select "schedule with locker and combo". You will not be able to view the locker combinations on your cell phone, so a printed copy of the schedule is required. Anyone without the ability to print their schedule can get assistance from the school's office.

A SCHOOL FEES STATEMENT has been included in this mailing. We are requesting that fees be paid by August 3, 2020. Please complete the accompanying fee sheet and mail it to Lincoln Junior High School, 1320 South Olympus Drive, Naperville, IL 60565. For your convenience,
there will also be a drop off box located in the front lobby of the school. All checks should be made payable to School District 203. A penalty charge of $25.00 will be assessed for each returned check, and the NSF check will be sent to a collection agency for collection. Online
