vB203 - Virtual Backpack

vB203, or Virtual Backpack for District 203, is our "eco-friendly" approach to distributing information that supports the school district's education goals and mission submitted for consideration from non-profit organizations and intergovernmental agencies.

Rather than sending flyers via backpack (which previously only took place at the elementary level), we are now posting approved information on this "virtual backpack" web page. It is estimated that this saves nearly 2,000 hours per year in labor, as well as conserves natural resources.

During the school year, regular notices are sent to all Talk203 participants reminding them that flyer information is posted online. Those wishing to submit information to be posted must do so by emailing a completed vB203 Flyer Request Form and sending a PDF of the requested posting to District 203's Administrative Center, in care of Dee Grier (dgrier@naperville203.org), at least 10 days in advance of the desired posting date.

Prior to submitting, please review the distribution guidelines carefully. Approval of materials is at the sole discretion of District 203 administration; please be advised that we have very specific guidelines governing the distribution of materials through our communication systems. Requesting organizations must be located within District 203 boundaries.
