vB203 (Virtual Backpack for District 203)

vB203, or Virtual Backpack for District 203, is our "green" approach to distributing information from non-profit organizations, intergovernmental agencies and business partners (to whom approval has been granted). Rather than sending flyers via backpack (which previously only took place at the elementary level), we are posting such information on this "virtual backpack" web page throughout the calendar year to provide access for all. It is estimated that this saves nearly 2,000 hours per year in sorting and handling of these materials, as well as conserves other natural resources.

During the school year, a weekly notice is sent to all Talk203 participants reminding them that flyer information is posted here. Those wishing to submit information to be posted must do so by emailing a completed vB203 Flyer Request Form and sending a PDF of the requested posting to District 203's Administrative Center, in care of Dee Grier (dgrier@naperville203.org), at least 10 days in advance of the desired posting date.

Prior to submitting, please read details regarding our distribution guidelines. The decision to post is at the discretion of District 203 administrators, based on these guidelines. Materials posted on this page are the responsibility of the organization represented, and endorsement by District 203 is neither direct nor implied.
