Teachers experience A Day Made Better from OfficeMax

10/2/2012  Five Naperville CUSD 203 teachers were among 1,000 teachers across the country who received surprise visits on Tuesday as part of OfficeMax's “A Day Made Better” program. Kelly Talaga, Learning Support Coach at Elmwood Elementary; Kristen Kainrath, Honors Math - PI at Meadow Glens Elementary; Judy Sterling, Second Grade at Scott Elementary; and the team of Christina Bentel and Tristin Vrchota, Multi-Needs Classroom at River Woods each received $1,000 worth of classroom supplies. Long-time Naperville teacher Judy Sterling was doubly surprised to learn among her visitors was OfficeMax CEO Ravi Saligram and a camera crew who recorded the event for the company. The teachers were selected as educators who exemplify passion, dedication, and innovation in the classroom. This is the sixth year that OfficeMax has surprised teachers in partnership with the nonprofit organization AdoptAClassroom.org.
