District 203 has upgraded Outlook Web Access (OWA) email. The look and feel when you access your email via the web is closer to the full version of Outlook and new features are available. The first time you log on to the new Outlook Web Access you will be prompted to set your default language and time zone. Each time upon logon you will be asked to specify what kind of computer you are using. When"private computer" is chosen, your session will timeout after 8 hours. Selecting "public or shared computer" will close your session after 15 minutes of inactivity. Two versions of Outlook Web Access are available: Outlook Web Access Premium and Outlook Web Access Light. Outlook Web Access Light supports accessibility features for users who are blind or have low vision and will run on most Web browsers. It provides a simplified user interface and reduced feature set compared with Outlook Web Access Premium. This light version works for a variety of operating systems and web browsers. Outlook Web Access Premium requires Internet Explorer 6 or a later version and provides features that are currently unavailable in the Light version, such as Unified Messaging and Tasks.
