District 203 knows that the success of its teachers directly impact student achievement. We also know the first year of teaching in a new district can be challenging, even for experienced educators. For these reasons, District 203 provides a comprehensive Mentoring and Induction Program for new teachers. Those without prior teaching experience are paired with a District Mentor who is a master teacher recently retired from the District. Support is also provided for teachers who join the District with prior teaching experience.
