Naperville Education Foundation Grants
Program and Application Procedures
The Naperville Education Foundation was founded in 1992 to “encourage creativity, innovation, and excellence in our schools – our students, our future.” The mission of the NEF is to seek financial and other resources through fund raising and community partnerships to support program goals. We are focused on encouraging creativity, providing enriched opportunities for learners, and assuring that all students have the opportunity to maximize their individual and collective potential.
Since its founding, the Naperville Education Foundation has granted community-raised funds to seed innovative and creative projects that improve the quality of education for the students of District 203. The committee evaluating the grant requests is made up of representatives from the Foundation, District 203 staff and community. In 2007-2008, NEF has budgeted $60,000 for grants that correlate to the District 203 curriculum.
The deadline for submission of all grant requests is February 1, 2008. Award decisions will be announced by the end of March, and grant recipients will be recognized at the District 203 Awards Ceremony on April 22, 2008.
Proposals are due February 1, 2008, by 4:00 p.m. and should be directed to the Naperville Education Foundation, ATTN: Nina M. Menis, District 203 Administrative Center, 203 W. Hillside Road, Naperville, IL 60540 or via email to mdvorak@naperville203.org. If you have any questions, please contact Nina M. Menis, District 203 Director of Community Relations at 420-6475.
