Earlier Enrollment Capacity Study (ECS) committee documents

The Enrollment Capacity Study (ECS) Committee was charged by the Board of Education to study the enrollments, capacity and demographics of the schools and make recommendations to better balance the student population throughout the district. The committee, comprised of staff, parents and community members, met throughout the fall and winter of 2011-12 before recommending the final map, Map 6, to the Board of Education on Feb. 21, 2012. Map 6 was subsequently revised slightly when approved by the Board of Education on March 19, 2012. Here are some documents from the ECS committee and enrollment study by the district.

Capacity Study Maps

The Board of Education on March 19, 2012 approved a new boundary map that relieves overcrowding at some of the district's schools.

Approved Boundary Map for 2012-2013

Earlier, the Enrollment Capacity Study (ECS) committee recommended a series of maps. Each time, the ECS group met they discussed, revamped or tweaked its earlier maps. Each of the 6 maps is presented below, though the final map approved by the Board March 19, 2012 is a variation of the ECS Map 6. Please note the maps are VERY LARGE data files to allow for greatest clarity. They will take a longer amount of time to download.
